What are the rules/regulations for importing a vehicle?

For the exporting rules and procedures of your country, including the pre-export inspections lists, please visit the appropriate government authorities of your country. References to these authorities can be found in our FAQ section â€œCountry Regulationsâ€.

Prior to importing a vehicle, we strongly suggested you to please research about what is expected of you as a vehicle importer in your country, and you should understand all its risks and responsibilities.

Does the FOB price on JAPAN AUTO SALE website include the additional costs like freight charge, storage charge, fees, tax and duties, etc.?

No, our FOB price does not include any of these fees. The term
â€œFOB Priceâ€, as seen on JAPAN AUTO SALE website, refers to the vehicle price
only. Any freight charges will be added to the FOB price when you
purchase the vehicle from us. After receiving the vehicle, you will be
responsible for paying any port clearing costs, import duties, taxes and
any others fees required by your country and/or the port of discharge.
Please contact your local authorities or a reputable clearing agent for
further details.
Please be informed that our trained agents are also available to assist
you as the clearing agents. Here is the list of the ports we use for the
shipment of the vehicles:

What are your office hours?

We are open Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m.â€“7:00 p.m. (Japan time). Please note that lunch break is held.

12:00 p.m.â€“1:00 p.m.

We are closed on the following days:

   1. Saturday and Sunday
    2. New Year's Holiday (several days around New Yearâ€™s Day)
    3. Golden Week (several days between April and May)
    4. Summer Holiday (several days in mid-August)
    5. Seminar Sessions (a few days throughout the year)

Please note that long holidays such as New Year's, Golden Week,
and Summer Holiday will differ in length each year. Specific dates will
be announced as the season approaches.

Can you show me the condition of the vehicle?

Yes, we can. We will do our best to provide as many detailed pictures of the vehicle as we can to help you with your purchasing decision.
